Troches twice a week for 3 weeks or 3 times a week for 2 weeks, 2-3 week break (to avoid tolerance), and evaluation visit after break to determine need for booster; troche dosage is person specific (we do not use the same dosage for everyone). Further Ketamine program details given after eligibility is established.
● Referrals required, or other preconditions
No referral required (our psychiatric provider will evaluate each eligible client), free consultation is required, will need to complete eligibility screening before moving forward with registration, after approved you will complete standard new client paperwork and informed consents. Informed consent includes details about necessities for treatment and restrictions.
● Follow-ups
Patient portal messaging, e-mail, video visits, (in-person visits at least once a year once those become required by the DEA again, but telehealth is appropriate until then)
● Booster Protocol
Patients have the option to boost after 2-3 week breaks; we do not offer prescription for daily use as this is not evidence based practice and increases risk for addiction, tolerance and dependence on Ketamine.
● Other Notes
We are a newer practice and are looking to establish clientele. However, for safety of our clients, spots in the Ketamine program are limited so that our provider is able to attend to each client as needed and be available to them promptly.
